Responsible for the data management focused on strategy, design, transition, operation and continual improvement of database technology (DB) aligned with NN IT standards: strategy and development plans, analyses and design, the transition of changes, operation and support, backup, archiving and recovery, lifecycle management, methodology. This role is part of DevOps team.

  • Prepare plans of DB technology development
  • Gather requirements, perform analyses and design of DB technology changes, prepare a specification for developers
  • Cooperate in the transition of changes (create and verify methodology checks, testing, and deployment)
  • Carry out operation and support of DB technology.
  • Perform analysis and solving of operational incidents/problems or service requests of DB technology
  • Carry out backup, archiving and recovery of DB technology
  • Responsible for DB technology lifecycle management
  • Create and maintain DB technology documentation, standards, principles, methodology, policies and procedures for design, transition and operation

Požadujeme

Our Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience with Oracle databases
  • Expert knowledge of Oracle RDBMS and related backup systems
  • Knowledge of Linux and MS Windows operating systems
  • Knowledge of network protocols and services (TCP/IP etc.)
  • Knowledge of ITIL
  • Experience with cloud solutions is an advantage
  • Knowledge of DWH, Data Integration systems (Informatica, ESB), BI tools (SSRS, Power BI), Data Modeling in Power Designer and/or Enterprise Architect is a plus
  • Ability to communicate in English (B2 level), Czech or Slovak is a must
  • Ability to structure own work, meet deadlines and quality expectations
  • Ability to anticipate obstacles and recommend proper reactions to it
