Main accountabilities of this role:

  • Develop and execute a reward strategy based on a clear Employer Value Proposition linked to the Financial health company (FHC) strategy and a deep appreciation of Total Rewards (salary, benefits, variable pay, non-tangible rewards).
  • Develop and maintain methods and frameworks to link the work that people do (roles people play, jobs people hold) to the rewards ČS pays aiming to be maximally transparent so that the reward systems in ČS are deemed by employees to be fair and motivating.
  • Conduct regular benchmarking of ČS reward practices vs. competitor organizations on the labor market to steer and align reward programs to the strategy.
  • Ensure there is an optimal link between the performance of the bank and ČS employees so that there is a clear link between the interests of the shareholder and those of employees.
  • Lead negotiations with ČS trade unions concerning annual salary reviews and the conclusion of collective labor agreements aiming for an optimal balance of interests and maximal return on ČS’s reward investment.
  • Oversee the application in practice of regulatory guidelines for reward schemes to ensure ČS is fully compliant and minimizes regulatory risk in the reward area.
  • Manage regular, significant company-wide processes such as salary increases and bonus pay-outs with the aim of minimizing effort for managers and HR colleagues while ensuring transparency for employees and shareholders.
