The Microsoft Development Center Prague is home to several engineering teams that work on products and services such as Office 365, Identity, Teams, Skype, IC3, Dynamics and Azure DevOps. Some of these teams are focused on User Interfaces, whereas others are more focused on Backend services or Infrastructure. Infrastructure refers to software that is common and other groups depend on. As we are adding and growing more of such (usually) DevOps engineering teams, we are also looking for people to manage and grow them. In this job, you will have access to a variety of experienced professionals to help you expand your knowledge and build this team in which members can thrive and establish a culture that is aligned with the Microsoft core values. You will collaborate with other groups, to define and deliver new and exciting projects. The code your team works on powers the world’s largest application service impacting hundreds of millions of individuals every single day. Our organization continuous to push the envelope to deliver more value to our customers while making our systems more efficient, which provides huge technical challenges and growth opportunities for both you and the team members.



  • Build and manage a world class team of technical DevOps engineers (or managers) that are eager to learn, committed to professional growth and have impact.
  • Foster a team culture that is aligned with the Microsoft Corporate values.
  • Collaborate with other teams that are often geographically spread, to define, plan and oversee projects that your team will own or participates
  • Within M365, the DevOps Teams take care of all aspects: planning, design, implementation, delivery, and monitoring. You will need to setup this team to live up to those responsibilities and participate yourself as well.




  • Commitment to a growth mindset, and customer focus.
  • Excellent planning, execution, people management and mentoring skills.
  • Advanced technical problem solving and design skills.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent degree.
  • Extensive experience in software development, in C#, Java, C++ or equivalent.
  • Experience operating in a DevOps environment.
